The children at The Parachute Club have drawn pictures of each staff member so you can see how good they are. Parachute Club is an outstanding out of school club, offering the best facilities in Westhoughton. Our staffs are committed to providing the best care for our children and are constantly undergoing training you can see some of our training below.
Nicola Coxon
Owner/Manager of The Parachute Club, Nicola holds level 3 in Play work, Nicola is our safeguarding officer and holds all relevant qualifications.
Jennifer Berry
Administrator/ Deputy Manager of The Parachute Club, Jenni holds her level 3 in Play work and is currently training to become our special needs officer, as well as holding a CACHE certificate in childcare and education and holds all relevant qualifications.
Eileen Eaton
Senior Play worker and Safeguarding Officer, Eileen holds her level 3 in Play work as well as inclusive play and holds all relevant qualifications.
Jennifer Higson - Parachute Angel
Jennifer sadly suddenly passed away in November 2016, Jennifer was a well loved member of staff at The Parachute Club and is greatly missed by all children and staff.
Jackie Buckley
Joined us in October, Jackie has previous experience in out of school care and is level 2 qualified and has achieved her level 3 in child care.
Cy Chambers
Play worker, Cy is a parachute club young apprentice, Cy is working towards his level 2 nvq and holds all relevant qualifications.
Francesca
Francesca has been volunteering at the Parachute Club over the past year. Francesca is now a full time member of the team. Francesca already holds level 3 Health & Social and has also completed her level 3 childcare.

Terry Coxon
Nicola’s dad and club chauffer, the man of many trades, Terry is fully DBS checked.
Sylvia Coxon
Nicola’s mum and club chef, Sylvia prepares our entire snack menu as well as helping the children with their homework and reading, Sylvia is fully food hygiene trained.
Tom Coxon
Nicola’s son and volunteer playworker (when he’s home) Tom is currently at the University of Maine Fort Kent. On a football scholarship
As well as all the qualifications mentioned ALL staff hold full enhanced DBS check, Paediatric first aid, food hygiene, fire safety, allergy awareness and much more. Our staffs are very highly qualified and someone is always doing some training.
